One of the greatest burdens going
on in the church and in the world today is the lust of the flesh. It does not
matter if you're a man or a women, it plagues us all. It's even reaching our
children. It's in our homes via television, movies, internet, radio, and the

Men and women today have a problem
with hiding their sin. I believe that we should hold accountability to the
Lord, our spouses, and families.
Ps 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my
heart, the Lord will not hear me.
What is the truth in this
situation?
The truth if you regard the tiniest
sin and conceal Chinalove it you
will soon be consumed by it.

If you really do love your spouse
you will understand what I'm trying to tell you. If you know that you have a
serious problem and let's face it in this game even the smallest sin is still
leaven.

unconfessed lustful looking at the
opposite sex (If you've looked twiced, looked long the first time, quick peeks,

intimate conversations with the opposite
sex where you share your thoughts, feelings, or frustrations (these should only
be shared with your spouse)
seeing a provocative magazine image
seeing a provocative billboard
image
seeing an inappropriate dressed
coworker (you spend eight hours a day with this person and the temptation to
look could be strong)
Steps to freedom from bondage of
lust
Confess your sin to God and your
spouse. Stop being proud and humble yourself and admit truth about your immoral
failures. James 4:6-7 God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the
humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will
flee from you.
Recognizing when you are in a
battle. Battles aren't fought alone. Our military doesn't go into battle alone
but with other soldiers. Allow your spouse to fight with you through these
battles and be a solider for you, in forgiveness, prayer and encouragement. As
soon as the battle is brought to light the devil will flee from you, that
temptation will flee from you, that immoral thought will flee from, those
adulterous eyes will flee from you, those feet that walk into mischief will
flee from you. All when you are open with God and your spouse about it.
Make no provisions for the flesh.
Avoid situations, places, tv, music, radio, magazines, that person in the
workplace like the plague before your sin consumes you and takes you straight
to the pits of HELL. Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make
not provision for the flesh, to [fulfil] the lusts [thereof]. Cut this sin off
at the source. Anything that is a weakness for you requires BOLD, FAST ACTION.
I removed broadcast tv from my house and smashed my ipod so that my weakness
would be cut off. If your house has internet then you should have a good filter
like AFO. It is worth the $60 a year to cut this sin off. Matthew 5:30 and if
thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast [it] from thee: for it is
profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy
whole body should be cast into hell.
Recognize the steps involved in
lust. There are many steps involved in the process of lust.
1) Stimulation. A sexual thought,
noticing something sexual, a person dressed immodest, a billboard, a pic in a
magazine, Facebook pic etc
2) The pull to look again for more
details. (adulterous eyes) Why are they called adulterous eyes? Math 5:28 But I
say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath
committed adultery with her already in his heart.
3) The enticement. That's the
excitement from giving into the pull or think about in detail what you saw,
said, or did. Job 31:27 And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth
hath kissed my hand.
4) Lust.The lust you just saw or
thought about brings forth sin.
5) Sin. Sin when it's finished
bringeth forth death (spiritual death in your relationship with God, death to a
marriage by keeping sin a secret, death to a family by allowing the umbrella
effect to take place. James 1:14-15 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn
away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it
bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
